Banana pudding is a common dessert in the Southern U.S. It is made of repeated layers of bananas, vanilla wafers and pudding, sometimes served with sprinkled meringue or whipped cream on top.

First, mix eggs and sugar, then add cornstarch, salt and milk.
Bring to a boil over medium-high heat, while stirring constantly.
Keep on cooking until thickened.
Remove from heating and add vanilla, mixing well.
Layer the vanilla wafers, pudding and bananas in a serving bowl
